Stubborn Child

So Christopher has proven to take after his father and is quite the stubborn, hard-headed child :) The other night I was giving him his bath - which he was not happy about because usually this is Dad's job. So after finally convincing him that he was either going to take a bath with me or no bath I got him in the tub. Well, he did not want me to turn on the water or touch the handle. He then got mad at me for turning the water on and told me it was too hot - it was not. He then was so mad that I would not let him touch it to turn the temp down he went on about how hot the water was (it was not hot). So I kept having to turn it down and he kept saying it was too hot, until it turned cold. He then told me that was fine. He proceeded to sit in the bath in the cold water. I cold tell he was cold by his face, but I could also see his stubbornness shining through. He waited a few minutes and then said that it was too cold and we found a happy medium. He may be a stubborn child, but I'm one stubborn mom too :) I came across this picture the other day, and made me remember when he was not such an opinionated little man and bath times did not come with negotiations.
