Mikayla Months 4, 5, 6 and 7

Now this is just quite the embarrassing post for me. I haven't posted updates on Mikayla in 4 months. I'm disappointed in myself, as the purpose of this blog is to keep a journal so that I can remember all the milestones and activities of our children. The only thing that makes me feel a little bit better is that I didn't start this blog until Christopher was around two, so I missed his monthly posts too. So this post will be heavy on pictures, low on details as I can't already recall all the fun and new things she began doing each month.

I will give a synopsis of who she is today at about 7 and half months. She is an, "I want what I want, when I want it" kind of gal. I swear she gets this from her Dad :) It's like she turned seven months and her little personality popped! She is on the move and wants to be everywhere her brother is. She wants to play along side him and with his toys all the time. On our vacations we even caught her crawling on top of him like she was trying to wrestle him. I'm not sure if she will turn out to be a tomboy but as it goes today I would say yes. You can always find her with a different version of the same toy Christopher has in his hands. A superhero, a matchbox car, a big car, a monster truck. I've even caught her trying to eat Christopher's beloved Nike hat. She is a great "solid" food eater and still waking up once a night to eat two ounces - which I know is a habit Mike and I are keeping her in, but like I said before - this girl wants what she wants when she wants it, and the wrath of a hungry Mikayla at 3 a.m. is a little too much for these parents to handle :). It also does not help that she refuses a pacifier. Which in the big picture is a good thing, but right now it's an adjustment for us to get used to not having that quick fix. She has no teeth yet - I think. Because she won't really let you get in there to see. It's the funniest thing when we try to get a glimpse in her month. I'll try to get a video to post.

So that's Mikayla today in a nutshell. I'm sure tomorrow she will be something a little different. And below are her month by month pictures. At least I can keep these up to date :)
